Oakdare set to crush competition
Oakdare Holdings has a new addition to its quarry family with the introduction of a McCloskey I44R impact crusher based at the Mowbray Quarry. Now with the capacity to crush, grade and distribute controlled rock products to the general public at an affordable price. The McCloskey crushing range can produce quarry products at 80 ton per hour of 25mm graded material. The crushing plant is feed by a 26 ton Kobelco Excavator and serviced by the companies Hyundai 770-9 Wheel loader. “When its pumping out rock it purrs like a Kitten” said Dan Heppell the Operations Manager. The new crusher unit has to date produced about 25,000 ton Douglas Shire Specification 2.3 Road Base and 200 ton TMR Specification gabion Rock and doesn’t look like stopping any time soon. Business Development Manager Michael Connolly is impressed with the new crusher and is looking to add to the McCloskey crushing train in the next 12 months.
